Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a square baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together cornmeal, flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl whisk whole milk, eggs, melted butter, and maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until the batter is just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
  7. In a small bowl whip softened butter with maple syrup and ground cinnamon until light and fluffy.
