- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp cotton candy extract (or to taste)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup colorful M&Ms (plus extra for topping)
- Optional: pastel food coloring for a cotton candy swirl effect
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt or pound cake pan.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in three additions, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Mix just until combined.
- Gently fold in the M&Ms. If using food coloring, divide batter and tint as desired, then swirl together in the pan.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: drizzle with glaze and sprinkle with more M&Ms before serving.
Notes
- Use pastel M&Ms for a festive look that matches the cotton candy theme.
- For stronger flavor, adjust cotton candy extract to your liking.
- This cake is fun for birthdays, baby showers, or colorful celebrations.
