Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 scallion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
  3. Spread salmon chunks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Pour marinade over salmon and toss to coat. Let sit for 15 minutes if possible.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes. For caramelization, broil for the last 2 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Double the marinade for extra sauciness.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
