Description

Flaky, buttery mini croissants filled with deli meats, cheese, and fresh veggies for the ultimate bite-sized sandwich—perfect for brunches, parties, or everyday snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Mini Croissants: Flaky, buttery pastries that serve as the perfect sandwich base
  • 12 slices Deli Turkey or Ham: Adds savory, meaty flavor to each bite
  • 6 slices Swiss Cheese (halved): Mild and creamy, melts beautifully
  • 6 Lettuce Leaves (torn in half): For crunch and freshness
  • 1 large Tomato (thinly sliced): Juicy and brightens the sandwich
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise: Creamy base spread
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard: Tangy depth and flavor
  • Salt and Pepper to taste: Elevates overall taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Optionally preheat your oven to 300°F if you want warm sandwiches.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or prep a clean surface for assembly.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Slice croissants in half. Spread mayo mixture on each half, then layer lettuce, tomato, deli meat, and cheese. Top with other croissant half.
  5. Cook to Perfection: If warming, place on baking sheet and heat for 5–7 minutes until cheese softens.
  6. Finishing Touches: Season with salt and pepper. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Arrange on platter and serve at room temp or slightly warm.

Notes

  • Use toothpicks for neat presentation and easier handling.
  • Wait to add tomatoes until just before serving to prevent sogginess.
  • Try herbed cream cheese for a flavor twist in place of mayo.
