Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a mini muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, whole milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill each liner about three-quarters full with batter.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
- Beat the unsalted butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar and melted semi-sweet chocolate to make the frosting.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes and serve.
