Description

A finely chopped twist on the classic Caesar, this Micro Chop Chicken Caesar Salad delivers perfect flavor in every bite with crisp romaine, juicy chicken, crunchy croutons, Parmesan, and creamy dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, diced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup croutons, chopped small
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F if toasting homemade croutons.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine, diced chicken, Parmesan, and chopped croutons.
  3. If making croutons, toast cubed bread with olive oil and garlic powder until golden.
  4. Drizzle Caesar dressing and lemon juice over the salad, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss everything gently until evenly coated.
  6. Top with extra Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use chilled ingredients for maximum crispness.
  • Store dressing separately if making ahead to avoid sogginess.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan adds much more flavor than pre-shredded.
