- 450 grams ground beef
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups broth
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat.
- Add olive oil, then sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, broth, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and let the soup simmer until the noodles are tender.
- Stir in ricotta cheese, then sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top and allow them to melt gently.
- Ladle into bowls and serve warm.
Notes
- Stir occasionally to prevent noodles from sticking.
- Add extra broth if the soup thickens too much.
