A refreshing Korean café-style strawberry milk made with real strawberries simmered into a lightly sweet syrup, then layered with chilled creamy milk for a beautiful pink drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 cups whole milk, chilled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add diced strawberries and granulated sugar to the saucepan. Stir gently to coat the fruit and let sit for 5 minutes to release juices.

- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Allow the syrup to cool completely.
- Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of cooled strawberry syrup into the bottom of each tall glass.
- Slowly pour chilled whole milk over the syrup to create layers.
- Stir before drinking and serve immediately, adding ice if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of your strawberries.
- Let the syrup cool fully before adding milk to maintain layered presentation.
