- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest (optional)
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs for garnish (optional)
- Fresh lime slices or zest for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest. Mix until fully incorporated and creamy.
- Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and smooth the surface.
- Sprinkle with additional graham cracker crumbs or cookie crumbs if desired.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Garnish with lime slices or zest before serving, if desired.

- For a stronger lime flavor, increase the lime juice slightly or use more zest.
- Make ahead and refrigerate overnight for the best texture.
