Key Lime Crack is a rich, sweet and tangy treat made with a buttery cracker base, creamy key lime filling, and a dusting of powdered sugar — a perfect blend of tart and sweet!

- 1 sleeve (about 30) buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup key lime juice
- 1 teaspoon key lime zest
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch pan with foil or parchment.
- Arrange crackers in a single layer to cover bottom of pan.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour mixture evenly over crackers and bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Mix sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and zest in a bowl; spread mixture over crackers.
- Bake for another 10 minutes. Remove and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Remove from pan, cut into squares, and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- For a more tart flavor, add additional key lime juice.
- Graham crackers can be used instead of buttery crackers.
- Store chilled in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
