Description

Juicy Pineapple Heaven Cake is a light and fluffy dessert bursting with tropical flavor. Made with crushed pineapple, whipped topping, and a tender cake base, this no-fuss treat is perfect for summer gatherings or quick family desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • Pineapple slices or extra crushed pineapple for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the cake mix according to package instructions. Stir in the can of crushed pineapple (with juice) until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
  7. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  8. Top with shredded coconut and additional pineapple if desired.
  9. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving for best texture.

Notes

  • Use pineapple in juice, not syrup, to avoid excess sweetness.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of vanilla extract to the cake batter.
  • This cake is best served chilled and can be made a day ahead.
  • Try toasted coconut on top for added crunch and aroma.
