Description

Juicy garlic butter steak bites seared to perfection and coated in a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce. This quick and savory dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or impressive entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites in a single layer (do in batches if necessary) and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using), and simmer until sauce thickens slightly, 2–3 minutes.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Simmer for another 1–2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use high-quality steak for best results—sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin work well.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan when searing steak to get a good crust.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or with crusty bread for dipping in the sauce.
