Description
Juicy garlic butter steak bites seared to perfection and coated in a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce. This quick and savory dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or impressive entertaining.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (do in batches if necessary) and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using), and simmer until sauce thickens slightly, 2–3 minutes.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Simmer for another 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use high-quality steak for best results—sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin work well.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan when searing steak to get a good crust.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or with crusty bread for dipping in the sauce.
