This Instant Pot Spaghetti is the ultimate weeknight dinner—quick, cozy, and full of flavor. Ground turkey, garlic, onion, and marinara come together with spaghetti noodles that cook right in the sauce for a one-pot wonder the whole family will love. - 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 onion, small diced
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 1/4 cups chicken broth (low sodium preferred)
- 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 24 oz marinara sauce (your favorite brand)
- 8 oz thin spaghetti, broken in half
- 2 Tbsp salted butter (optional)
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Heat olive oil, then add garlic and onion. Cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pot, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in marinara sauce. Layer spaghetti noodles on top in a crisscross pattern (to prevent clumping). Do not stir.
- Press noodles gently into the liquid so they’re just covered. Add butter if using.
- Seal Instant Pot lid and set to Manual (High Pressure) for 8 minutes.
- When done, do a quick release of pressure. Stir everything together until spaghetti is well coated in sauce.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of red wine before sealing the Instant Pot.
- Make it creamy by stirring in 1/4 cup heavy cream or ricotta after cooking.
- You can swap ground turkey for ground beef, chicken, or Italian sausage.
