Description

Crispy chicken glazed in a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce served over fluffy rice with roasted vegetables, a comforting and flavor-packed bowl


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken pieces
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and prepare a baking sheet
  2. Mix honey, chili flakes, soy sauce, and garlic in a bowl until smooth
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
  4. Season chicken lightly and place vegetables on the baking sheet
  5. Roast vegetables for 20 minutes while cooking chicken in the skillet until golden and cooked through
  6. Pour the hot honey sauce over the chicken and toss until fully coated
  7. Serve by adding rice to bowls, topping with vegetables and glazed chicken, then sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions

Notes

  • Add sauce at the end to keep it glossy
  • Do not overcrowd the pan for better texture
  • Adjust chili flakes to control spice level
