Description

A light and refreshing iced tea made with green tea, fresh mint, honey, and lemon slices. Perfect for hot days, it offers a soothing blend of herbal and citrus notes with a hint of natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 green tea bags
  • 1 packed cup fresh mint leaves
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 to 6 lemon slices
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 2 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water and let it cool for 2 minutes.
  2. Place green tea bags and mint leaves in a heatproof pitcher. Pour in hot water and steep for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and mint, then stir in the honey until dissolved.
  4. Add 2 cups of cold water to dilute and cool the tea.
  5. Add lemon slices and fresh mint if desired. Let cool to room temperature.
  6. Refrigerate until fully chilled.
  7. Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with lemon and mint.

Notes

  • Use filtered water for the cleanest taste.
  • Chill glasses in advance for an extra cold drink.
  • Bruise mint slightly before steeping to release more flavor.
  • Store tea in a glass pitcher to avoid off-flavors.
