With juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, and crisp-tender broccoli all tossed in a sticky honey garlic sauce, this dish is a weeknight flavor bomb that’s quick to whip up and wildly satisfying.

- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving (optional)
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining olive oil to the same skillet. Add broccoli florets and a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until just tender. Remove lid and sauté another 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything in the sauce until well coated and heated through.
- Serve over rice if desired, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Use turkey sausage or chicken sausage for a lighter version.
- Don’t overcook the shrimp—pull them off the heat once they turn pink.
- Double the sauce if you love extra flavor over rice or noodles!
