Description

Honey Garlic Ribs are tender, flavorful pork ribs glazed with a sticky, sweet, and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a delicious barbecue or family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Place ribs on the wire rack and brush both sides generously with the sauce.
  4. Cover ribs loosely with foil and bake for 2 to 2.5 hours until tender.
  5. Remove foil and brush ribs with additional sauce.
  6. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra smoky flavor, finish ribs on a grill instead of the oven.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure ribs reach an internal temperature of 190°F for tender meat.
  • Serve with coleslaw or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
