- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for strawberries)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for whipped cream)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk and vanilla extract; stir until just combined.
- Turn dough onto floured surface, gently knead 3-4 times, then pat into a 1-inch thick round.
- Cut into 8 biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place on baking sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
- Meanwhile, combine sliced strawberries with sugar and let macerate for 30 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- To assemble, split biscuits, layer with strawberries and whipped cream, then top with biscuit tops.
