Description

A creamy, crunchy Amish broccoli salad packed with fresh broccoli, cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, and sunflower seeds, all tossed in a sweet and tangy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 5 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping the broccoli into bite-sized florets, slicing the red onion thinly, and cooking and chopping the turkey bacon.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, red onion, and sunflower seeds.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, white vinegar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
