- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 medium diced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread beef and onion mixture on the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the soup mixture over the beef and spread evenly.
- Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
