Description

Juicy grilled steak topped with creamy mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with a tangy balsamic glaze — a flavorful, summery dish.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank or sirloin steak
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour over steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak for 4–6 minutes per side (depending on thickness and desired doneness).
  3. Remove steak from grill and let rest for 5–10 minutes. Slice against the grain.
  4. Top sliced steak with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

  • Use a balsamic reduction or glaze for a sweeter finish.
