Description

Golden Corn Ranch Beef Skillet with Melted Cheddar Bliss is a hearty and comforting one-pan meal made with seasoned ground beef, sweet corn, ranch seasoning, and topped with gooey melted cheddar cheese. It’s quick, family-friendly, and full of rich, savory flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions or chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in corn and ranch seasoning. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream until everything is well combined and creamy.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Great served with rice, mashed potatoes, or over baked potatoes.
  • For added heat, stir in diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
