Description

Ingredients
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined): 1 pound
- Garlic (minced): 6 cloves
- Soy Sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Oyster Sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil: 2 teaspoons
- Vegetable Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Egg Noodles (or lo mein): 8 ounces
- Green Onions (sliced): 3 stalks
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes: 1 teaspoon (optional)
Instructions
- Heat your wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Add vegetable oil to the hot pan, then sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add cooked noodles and pour in the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Add shrimp back in and stir-fry for another 1–2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with green onions and red pepper flakes if using. Drizzle with extra sesame oil if desired.
- Plate and serve immediately while hot. Optional: garnish with lime or fresh herbs.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the boldest flavor.
- Cook shrimp in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Toss noodles with a little oil after draining to prevent sticking.
