- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz goat cheese (or more cream cheese, if preferred)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for smoothness)
- Additional chopped herbs or crushed nuts (for coating)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic, parsley, chives, dill, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Place the mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a log using your hands or a spatula.
- Wrap tightly in the plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Once chilled, unwrap the log and roll it in additional chopped herbs or crushed nuts for a decorative coating, if desired.
- Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
- Can be made 2–3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Use roasted garlic for a milder flavor.
- Try adding finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes or olives for variation.
