- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with the kosher salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
- In a small bowl, stir together the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the butter.
- When the butter melts, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring often, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the broth and lemon mixture, then stir gently to coat the shrimp.
- Let the sauce simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and swirl until the sauce is glossy.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, adjust seasoning if needed, and garnish with lemon slices.
- Serve immediately with bread, rice, or pasta.
