Description

This Easy Spinach Dip is creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. A mix of cream cheese, sour cream, spinach, and a blend of parmesan and mozzarella cheeses creates a perfect appetizer for parties, game days, or a cozy snack at home.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, parmesan cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the thawed and squeezed spinach until evenly incorporated.
  4. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden.
  6. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • Make sure to squeeze excess water from the spinach to prevent a watery dip.
  • Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
  • Garnish with extra parsley for a fresh look.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of nutmeg.
