Description

This Easy Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak is a tender, juicy, and flavorful dish inspired by Brazilian churrasco. It features perfectly seared steak smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce, making it ideal for a quick yet indulgent dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) beef sirloin, ribeye, or flank steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until hot.
  3. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until your desired doneness is reached. Transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and let it melt.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add chopped parsley and lemon juice (if using), stirring to combine.
  7. Return the steak to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over it.
  8. Slice the steak against the grain, drizzle with more garlic butter, and serve immediately.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak with olive oil, garlic, and herbs for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
