- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella and cream cheese together in 30-second intervals until smooth, stirring in between.
- In a separate bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Add the flour mixture and egg to the melted cheese and mix until a dough forms. Knead slightly if needed.
- Form the dough into a flat oval or rectangle on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly on top.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can swap almond flour for coconut flour, but reduce the amount by half and adjust the egg.
- Add chopped jalapeños, olives, or herbs to the dough for extra flavor.
- This recipe freezes well—just reheat in the oven or air fryer.
