Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella and cream cheese together in 30-second intervals until smooth, stirring in between.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Add the flour mixture and egg to the melted cheese and mix until a dough forms. Knead slightly if needed.
  5. Form the dough into a flat oval or rectangle on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly on top.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can swap almond flour for coconut flour, but reduce the amount by half and adjust the egg.
  • Add chopped jalapeños, olives, or herbs to the dough for extra flavor.
  • This recipe freezes well—just reheat in the oven or air fryer.
