- 4 cups sliced potatoes (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Top with cooked ground beef, then half of the cheese.
- Pour half of the soup mixture over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with remaining potatoes, soup mixture, and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
