Description
Crockpot Easy Ravioli Lasagna is a no-fuss, family-friendly dinner made by layering frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and cheese in a slow cooker. It’s a comforting and cheesy meal that tastes just like lasagna but takes a fraction of the effort.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (do not thaw)
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If using meat, brown the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
- Top with a portion of the cooked meat (if using), more marinara sauce, and a handful of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and both mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the ravioli are tender and cooked through.
- Turn off heat and let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or basil if desired.
Notes
- Use meat or keep it vegetarian by skipping the beef/sausage.
- Try different ravioli fillings like spinach or mushroom for variety.
- Leftovers reheat well and can be frozen in portions.
- Use a liner or cooking spray for easier cleanup.
