Description

Ingredients

  • 700 grams chicken
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Turn the slow cooker to low heat to preheat.
  2. Add chicken, chopped onion, carrots, celery, garlic, chicken broth, butter, salt, pepper, and thyme into the slow cooker and stir gently.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the chicken becomes tender.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and milk to create a soft dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook for another 1 hour until dumplings are cooked through.
