Instructions
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil or butter.
- In a bowl, mix the cold rice with soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt until combined.
- Add the remaining oil to the skillet and spread the rice evenly across the bottom.
- Press the rice down with a spatula to create a flat layer.

- Carefully flip the rice onto a plate or board.
- Top with green onions or your choice of garnish and serve immediately.
