Description

  • 1.5 pounds raw chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F. Line a plate with paper towels or place a wire rack nearby.
  2. In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Dip each tender into the egg, then dredge in flour mixture. Repeat for extra crispiness.
  4. Fry chicken in batches, 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on the wire rack.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in honey and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Toss the fried chicken strips in the warm honey butter garlic sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
