Golden, crispy chicken strips tossed in a sweet and savory honey butter garlic glaze. These crunchy bites are perfect for dinner, parties, or anytime cravings hit.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds raw chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F. Line a plate with paper towels or place a wire rack nearby.
- In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Dip each tender into the egg, then dredge in flour mixture. Repeat for extra crispiness.
- Fry chicken in batches, 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on the wire rack.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in honey and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Toss the fried chicken strips in the warm honey butter garlic sauce until evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Double dredging creates extra crunch.
- Maintain oil temperature for even frying.
- Warm sauce before tossing for better glaze absorption.
- Leftovers reheat best in the oven or air fryer.
