Description
A golden, crispy flatbread topped with melty Brie, tart cranberries, toasted almonds, and fresh thyme—simple, elegant, and irresistibly delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium flatbreads
- 6 ounces Brie cheese, sliced thin
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, lightly toasted
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
- Slice the Brie, chop the thyme, and toast the almonds in a dry skillet for about 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or use the preheated pizza stone.
- Brush flatbreads with olive oil. Layer on Brie, cranberries, almonds, and thyme.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
- Drizzle with honey if using, cool for a minute, and slice to serve.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bake directly on a pizza stone.
- Don’t overload with toppings to keep the flatbread from becoming soggy.
- A sprinkle of sea salt or balsamic glaze adds a flavorful finish.
