Description

A crave-worthy crispy cauliflower burger layered with crunchy slaw, creamy mayo, and tangy pickles — packed with texture, flavor, and satisfaction in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into large florets
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 burger buns, toasted
  • 1 1/2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 812 pickle slices
  • Hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F or set air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour buttermilk in another bowl and panko in a third.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease air fryer basket.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret in flour mix, then buttermilk, then panko. Coat well.
  5. Place on prepared tray and bake 25–30 mins or air fry for 15 mins, flipping/shaking halfway.
  6. Toast buns. Spread mayo, add coleslaw, crispy cauliflower, pickles, and hot sauce.
  7. Serve hot with sides of choice.

Notes

  • Spray cauliflower lightly with oil before baking for extra crunch.
  • Use gluten-free flour and panko to make it GF.
  • Double-dip in panko for an ultra-crispy coating.
  • Prep cauliflower ahead to save time later.
