Ingredients
Scale
- 1 jar (16 oz) dill pickle chips or slices, drained and patted dry
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Nonstick cooking spray or oil mist
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
- Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and water, and one with panko, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper mixed.
- Dip each pickle slice into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally coat with the seasoned panko crumbs.
- Place coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping.
- Lightly spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray or oil mist.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or spicy mayo.
Notes
- Pat pickles dry to help coating stick and avoid sogginess.
- Use pickle spears for a chunkier bite or chips for snacking.
- For extra crunch, double coat the pickles by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
- Try spicy pickles for a flavor kick!
