Description

Crispy Air Fryer Dill Pickles are a tangy, crunchy, and addictive snack that’s light on oil but big on flavor. Perfectly seasoned and air-fried to golden perfection, these are an easy appetizer or party bite that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 jar (16 oz) dill pickle chips or slices, drained and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Nonstick cooking spray or oil mist

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and water, and one with panko, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper mixed.
  3. Dip each pickle slice into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally coat with the seasoned panko crumbs.
  4. Place coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping.
  5. Lightly spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray or oil mist.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or spicy mayo.

Notes

  • Pat pickles dry to help coating stick and avoid sogginess.
  • Use pickle spears for a chunkier bite or chips for snacking.
  • For extra crunch, double coat the pickles by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
  • Try spicy pickles for a flavor kick!
