Instructions
- Rinse rice under cold water and drain.
- Combine rice, milk, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a low simmer. Stir frequently.
- Cook for 30-40 minutes, until rice is tender and mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract, cinnamon, and raisins if using.
- Serve warm or chilled. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
