- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear chicken in hot oil for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

- Use freshly grated parmesan for better texture and flavor.
- If sauce is too thick, thin with a splash of broth.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
