- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ⅓ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Mix smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Add olive oil and butter to the skillet. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and paprika mix. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink.
- Remove shrimp. Pour in broth, scraping the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
- Return shrimp to the skillet. Warm together for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
