Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ⅓ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Mix smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  3. Add olive oil and butter to the skillet. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shrimp and paprika mix. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Remove shrimp. Pour in broth, scraping the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet. Warm together for 1–2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
