Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken & Golden Potatoes Tray is a one-pan wonder that brings tender, juicy chicken and perfectly roasted golden potatoes together in a luscious garlic cream sauce. It’s rich, hearty, and incredibly flavorful—perfect for a comforting family dinner with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • lbs golden potatoes, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking tray or sheet pan.
  2. Place chicken and potatoes on the tray. Drizzle with olive oil and season with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes, turning potatoes halfway through.
  4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add cream, Parmesan, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Season to taste.
  5. Remove tray from oven. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the chicken and potatoes.
  6. Return to oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms to the tray for extra veggies.
  • Use bone-in chicken for even more flavor, adjusting cook time as needed.
