Description
A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender Parmesan-crusted beef over creamy garlic butter spaghetti, perfect for cozy dinners or impressing guests.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti: 12 ounces
- Sirloin Steak: 1 pound
- Butter: 6 tablespoons
- Garlic: 6 cloves, minced
- Parmesan Cheese: 1 cup, freshly grated
- Heavy Cream: 1/2 cup
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix salt and pepper, then rub it all over the steak. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Add olive oil to the hot skillet. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to a plate and let rest.
- Assemble the Dish: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Cook to Perfection: Add cooked, drained spaghetti to the skillet. Toss gently to coat in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Finishing Touches: Slice the rested steak against the grain. Add it to the pasta, sprinkle with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley.
- Serve and Enjoy: Plate the pasta with slices of beef on top. Serve immediately with crusty bread and a side salad.
Notes
- Always rest the steak before slicing to lock in juices.
- Reserve pasta water to help emulsify the sauce.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
- Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream or broth to revive the sauce.
