Ingredients

- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk the dressing until smooth and well combined.
- Add the sliced cucumbers and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl.
- Toss everything together until cucumbers are evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped dill if using.
- Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
- Use English cucumbers for fewer seeds and a milder flavor.
- Let the salad chill before serving to enhance taste.
- Can be made a few hours in advance but best served the same day.
