- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5–7 minutes or until cooked through and slightly charred. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes on medium heat.
- Stir in shredded mozzarella and continue stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Return cooked chicken and linguine to the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

- Use smoked paprika and garlic powder as a DIY Cajun mix if needed.
- Try adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and color.
- Swap linguine with fettuccine or penne if preferred.
