Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a bold and comforting pasta dish packed with tender Cajun-seasoned chicken, silky linguine noodles, and a rich, cheesy garlic sauce made with melted mozzarella. Perfect for spicy pasta lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5–7 minutes or until cooked through and slightly charred. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Stir in shredded mozzarella and continue stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Return cooked chicken and linguine to the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  8. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use smoked paprika and garlic powder as a DIY Cajun mix if needed.
  • Try adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and color.
  • Swap linguine with fettuccine or penne if preferred.
