Description

Creamy Cajun Alfredo Shells bring together tender pasta, juicy Cajun-spiced chicken, and a rich, cheesy Alfredo sauce for the perfect comfort meal with a kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces Shell Pasta
  • 2 medium Chicken Breasts, sliced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Set a large pot of salted water to boil and preheat a deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Toss the chicken in Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in the skillet and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Stir in Parmesan cheese, letting it melt into the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta and stir to coat every shell.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Add the Cajun chicken back into the pan. Let everything simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Finishing Touches: Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Plate the creamy shells warm and serve with a side of bread or salad.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
  • Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
  • For extra spice, increase Cajun seasoning or add cayenne pepper.
