- 1/2 cup Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter (for greasing ramekins)
Instructions
- Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place a large baking dish filled with hot water inside to create a water bath.
- Combine Ingredients: Whisk Boursin cheese and cream until smooth. Stir in salt and pepper.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Butter four ramekins and set on a clean surface.
- Assemble the Dish: Spoon 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture into each ramekin. Crack an egg into each, then top with another tablespoon of cheese mixture and optional chives.
- Cook to Perfection: Place ramekins in the water bath. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until whites are set and yolks remain soft.
- Finishing Touches: Carefully remove from oven, cool 1 minute, sprinkle with flaky salt or more chives.
