- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Peanut oil or vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with dill pickle juice. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
- In another bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove chicken from pickle juice and dip each piece into the milk and egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Fry the chicken nuggets in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
