Description

These Copycat Chick-fil-A Nuggets are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned to replicate the beloved fast-food classic at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Peanut oil or vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with dill pickle juice. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Remove chicken from pickle juice and dip each piece into the milk and egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
