Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix well.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Roll dough into a ¼ inch thick rectangle on a floured surface. Cut into fry-sized strips.

Notes
- Chill the dough before cutting for cleaner slices and less spreading.
