Description

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, these cookie fries are the ultimate fun twist on classic cookies, perfect for dipping and sharing.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix well.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  4. Roll dough into a ¼ inch thick rectangle on a floured surface. Cut into fry-sized strips.
  5. Place strips on the baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
  7. Serve with dipping sauces like melted chocolate, caramel, or cream cheese dip.
