Description

Condensed Milk Cake is a simple, moist, and rich cake made with sweetened condensed milk as the star ingredient. It’s buttery, tender, and perfect for tea time or as a base for layered desserts.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or loaf cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  3. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined and smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with whipped cream and berries.
