- 12 lasagna noodles
- 500 grams ground beef
- 400 grams cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, half of the parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook diced onion and garlic until softened, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, and basil, and let it simmer briefly.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the cottage cheese mixture, then mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
- Finish with remaining sauce and sprinkle the rest of the parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing, then serve and enjoy.
