Description

A warm and gooey cinnamon roll casserole with soft layers, swirls of cinnamon, and a silky glaze, perfect for breakfast or brunch

Ingredients

  • Canned Cinnamon Rolls: 8 rolls
  • Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Ground Cinnamon: 2 teaspoons
  • Unsalted Butter: 1/4 cup, melted
  • Cream Cheese: 4 ounces, softened
  • Powdered Sugar: 1 cup
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs: 2, lightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Place the unrolled cinnamon rolls in the dish. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the rolls, then pour the egg mixture evenly on top.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
  5. While baking, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth to make the glaze.
  6. Drizzle the glaze over the warm casserole once it comes out of the oven.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh, high-quality cinnamon rolls for best flavor.
  • Let the casserole cool slightly before slicing to maintain structure.
  • Optional: Add nuts, chocolate chips, or fruit for a creative twist.
